Mint Hill Arts opens ‘Body and
The nonprofit Mint Hill Arts will host a free
opening reception Friday, Oct. 12 for its next
exhibit, “Body and Soul.”
The event, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m., will
include free wine, soft drinks and appetizers.
The show will feature two categories. The
“Body” category will feature wearable artisan
items including jewelry, scarves, hats, painted
or dyed T-shirts, belts and more. Items entered
in the “Soul” category will feature all forms of
painted artwork, including oils, pastels, watercolors,
inks, dyes, house paint and more,
using any technique on any surface.
