CHARLOTTE – The Southern Spring Home & Garden Show returns this month with inspirational ideas and the latest trends to enhance indoor and outdoor spaces.
Attendees will mingle with TV celebrities, sample wine and gourmet foods, and receive valuable advice on home decorating, remodeling, renovating and landscaping.
At the Fresh Ideas Stage, guests will hear presentations from home improvement and design experts such as Vern Yip from TLC’s “Trading Spaces” and Matt Blashaw, host of the hit series “Yard Crashers,” which airs on both DIY Network and HGTV.
Attendees will be invited to tour the Belgard Gardens, which will feature a New South theme, Belgard outdoor landscaping products, gorgeous greenery and thousands of colorful tulips, hyacinths and daffodils.
Visitors can watch talented chefs prepare some of their favorite creations at the cooking stage.
Designer rooms bursting with accessories, furnishings, flora, hardscapes and softscapes will represent the latest in home décor and offer the opportunity for visitors to speak with local decorators for advice and ideas.
A beer garden will allow guests to enjoy a variety of beers from Blue Blaze Brewing.
Attendees will be able to connect with nature as they tour a fully decorated Blue Ridge yurt display – an airy, circular outdoor living space with exposed rafters – and explore a Beanstalk Builders treehouse inside the venue.
The marketplace will offer the latest in-home accessories and gifts.
The show will be held 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, as well as 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 23 to 25 and March 2 to 4, at the Park Expo and Conference Center, 800 Briar Creek Road.
