A free workshop for high school students and their parents called The ABC’s of College Planning will be held at University of North Carolina at Charlotte Saturday, March 10.
The workshop, which is sponsored by the Southern Association of College Admission Counseling, ACT, the College Board and the National Society of High School Scholars, will cover topics including the college search process, application, factors colleges consider, preparing for a college fair, scholarships and financial aid and standardized test options.
Workshops are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fretwell Hall, room 100, 9201 University City Blvd., Charlotte.
