Le Aunj Boutique closing
Mint Hill’s Le Aunj Boutique is closing.
Owners Lisa Brantley and Angela Scull opened the women’s accessories shop in October 2011 in the B.G. Walters shopping center, 11300 Lawyers Road, suite M. Brantley has decided to leave the business, prompting the shop’s closing, Scull said. Inventory is marked 30 to 70 percent off, she said.
Scull said once everything is gone, she plans to re-open under a different name and possibly in a larger location. She envisions adding clothing and other items.
The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Two Matthews businesses are moving to new locations: Time Machine Antiques and Matthews Hematology Oncology Associates.
Time Machine recently moved from Matthews-Mint Hill Road to 121 Liberty Lane in Indian Trail.
The shop has a new phone number, 704-234-2300, and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Matthews Hematology Oncology will welcome patients to its new location, 1700 Matthews Township Pkwy., Friday Feb. 18. The practice is moving from Matthews’ Senna Drive to the former Presbyterian
Urgent Care location. The phone number will remain the same, 704-841-8151.
Matthews real estate agent nets award
Holly Chapman, of downtown Matthews’ Hometown Real Estate Professionals, was recently awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation
by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors.
Chapman joins more than 16,000 real estate agents in North America who have earned the designation, according to a news release. All professionals were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and sellers ages 55 and older.
