Historical society meeting includes panel discussion

MINT HILL – Hear humorous and factual life stories about Mint Hill through the personal glimpses of longtime residents at the Mint Hill Historical Society’s annual meeting.

The panel consists of Becky Griffin, longtime trustee of the board and executive director of the historical village; Mickey Ellington, town commissioner and society trustee; Tom Flowe, lifelong resident and society trustee; and Shirley West, past president of the society and secretary of the board of trustees.

Their remarks will be followed by a question and answer period from the audience.

Guests can be the first to see the artist’s rendering of the new barn and find out about its raising. The group also will elect its new class of 2020.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Mint Hill Town Hall, 4430 Mint Hill Village Lane.
