Butler senior receiver Uriah LeMay was presented with his jersey for the second-annual Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl during an Oct. 11 ceremony in the school’s football stadium.
The game, supported by the U.S. Marine Corps, will be played on Jan. 4, 2013, at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. It will be broadcast live on the NFL Network at 3 p.m.
LeMay, a University of Georgia commit, will be one of 100 players selected from around the country to compete in the game.
“It’s an incredible honor,” LeMay said. “When I saw the first clip on YouTube, I knew that I had to be at that game. It’s a great honor, and I can’t wait until I can get to go to the West Coast and play in that game.”
According to Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl officials, players are chosen based on character, on-field performance and academic accomplishments.
